The Assembly Format feature provides the following options:
| Option | Description |

| Default | Select the "Default" option to honor the DocFormat element found in the Package Doc. This allows a single request to assemble documents with a mixture (PDF, XML) of document output formats. |
| Multiple PDFs | Instructs the Expere Document Engine to produce the output transaction in multiple, separate PDF documents. |
| Single PDF | Instructs the Expere Document Engine to combine all documents into a single PDF. |
| Merged PDFs | Creates an additional .PDF that contains copies of all the individual documents.. |
| XML | Instructs the Expere Document Engine to produce the output transaction in XML document. This can then be viewed using the browser. |
| RTF | Allows creating documents in editable RTF format, post rendering. |
The default setting for Assembly Format is Default. This setting can be configured within the Expere Testing System style sheet by the system administrator.
